* A female plus is running from Hollows. She trips and falls. The Hollows move towards her but they're all vanished by the overwhelming reiatsu coming from Karakura Town. A shinigami appears.

Saidou: Are you okay, little missy? Just that reiatsu killed 'em, huh? Man, that reiatsu was insane. We're gonna be blown to kingdom come if we don't turn tail and run. By the way, I've got a full view of your panties, little missy!

* The girl blinks and covers herself in embarrassment. The shinigami laughs.

Dead Girl: Mister, who are you?

Saidou: Who, me?

Dead Girl: Yes.

Saidou: My name is Saidou Eikichirou. I'm a miserly Shinigami that was just recently put in charge of this area.

Dead Girl: So you're a cheapskate, then.

* Saidou makes a face.

Saidou: I'll let that slide. Now, if you stay here, monsters like the ones you just saw are gonna come after you. You should run for it while you still can.

Dead Girl: Okay!

* The girl runs away.

Saidou: Yeesh. Looks like it's about to go down. But who will the battle go to?

* "At the same time... 70m above Karakura Town..."

* Oomaeda makes a face as he sees Aizen.

Oomaeda: He's still got that monstrously heavy reiatsu...

Soi Fon: Feel free to run for it if you're scared, you coward.

* Starrk and Lilynette are shown. Scene changes to Iba and Komamura.

Iba: I think it would be smart to attack their leader first, don't you?

Komamura: No, Aizen's abilities are unique. We should defeat everyone else first so that we can give him our undivided attention.

* Barragan, Poww and Avirama are shown. Scene changes to Ukitake and Shunsui.

Shunsui: Get down, Ukitake!

* Yamamoto raises his sword on fire.

* Oomaeda is totally scared.

* Yamamoto creates a barrier of fire around Aizen, Gin, and Tousen.

Yamamoto: Blazing Fortress.

* Yamamoto sheathes his sword.

Yamamoto: Even Aizen won't be able to escape this wall of flames for a while. So let's make sure we finish the rest of them off.

Ukitake: You're nuts, Captain-Commander.

Shunsui: You must be in a pretty bad mood, eh, Yama-jii?

* Oomaeda is still pissing on his pants.

Hitsugaya: Aizen...

* Stuck inside the flames of Joukaku Enjou (Blazing Fortress) are Aizen, Gin, and Tousen.

Gin: It's kinda hot! Captain-Commander-san sure went overboard, didn't he? What should we do, Captain Aizen? Now we won't be able to join in the fun!

Aizen: We do nothing.

* The outside is shown. Starrk is covering his face. Barragan is indifferent. Halibel observes.

Aizen: The battle shall simply end without us having to lift a finger. That's all there is to it.

* "Elsewhere... 5th Tower, Las Noches..."

* Ulquiorra faces Orihime.

Ulquiorra: Are you scared? Aizen-sama no longer needs you. There's no one left to protect you. You're finished. You will die here all on your own, without anyone to hold on to.

* Orihime doesn't change her face.

Ulquiorra: I asked you if you're afraid.

Orihime: I'm not... scared.

* Ulquiorra widens his eyes.

* The outside of the castle is shown. Ishida, Sado, Renji and Rukia are shown.

* Back outside...

Ichigo: Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer!!

* The hollows are killed. Back inside...

Orihime: When I first heard that they had come to save me, I was a little happy... and very sad. I came here because I wanted to protect them all.

* Flashback scene shows Grimmjow attacking Ichigo.

Orihime: I didn't understand why they came.

* Flashback scene shows Rukia, Renji, Uryuu, Chad and Ichigo together inside the castle.

Orihime: I wondered why they didn't understand how I felt.

* Flashback scenes show battles of the five of them.

Orihime: But when I felt Kuchiki-san collapse...

* Flashback scene shows Rukia collapsing.

Orihime: As I watched Kurosaki-kun fight...

* Flashback scene shows Ichigo with his hollow mask on fighting a released Grimmjow.

Orihime: I realized none of that mattered. But still, I didn't want to see Kurosaki-kun get hurt. I just wanted everyone to be safe. And that's when I realized something. Everyone else must have felt the same way. If any of them suddenly disappeared like I did, I'm sure that I'd do the exact same thing.

* Back outside, Ichigo faces a green wall.

* Ichigo faces a green wall outside of the castle. He jumps up and sees an army of Arrancar.

Rudobone: Intruder Kurosaki Ichigo-dono detected.

* Rudobone uses sonido and attacks Ichigo with his sword.

Rudobone: I'm Rudobone, captain of the Exequias. I've come to take your life.

* Ichigo repels him.

Rudobone: I said that I am going to take your life. You're going to have to stay here.

Ichigo: Sorry, I don't have the time to deal with the likes of you.

Rudobone: Splendid. I don't have much time to waste on the likes of you, either.

* The whole army sonido's away and attacks Ichigo in waves. Ichigo keeps beating them, but they keep coming.

Ichigo: Shit, how many of them are there?!

* ((unknown song))

* Zabimaru appears out of nowhere and hits many Exequias.

* Renji wields Snake Tail (Zabimaru) in Shikai mode.

* Renji laughs.

Renji: Let's go, one more round!

* He swings his weapon once more, hitting more of them.

Ichigo: Renji!

* Chad appears and powers up.

Chad: The Strike of the Giant!!

* He hits the green wall, breaking it. The Exequias on top of it fall down.

Ichigo: Chad!

* Chad gives Ichigo a thumbs-up.

* Rudobone assesses the situation. Many Exequias are fallen.

Rudobone: You simpletons! Don't allow such a minor ambush to throw you off balance!

* He looks at Ichigo and sonido's behind him.

* Rukia wields Sleeve of the White Snow (Sode no Shirayuki) in Shikai mode.

Rukia: Tsugi no mai... Hakuren!!

* Hakuren hits Rudobone's arm, holding him.

Ichigo: Rukia!

Rukia: You fool! We can have a happy reunion later! Get going, Ichigo!

Ichigo: Got it!

* Ichigo runs towards the 5th tower.

Rukia: Boy, he's such a handful.

* Rudobone breaks free from Hakuren.

Rudobone: Do you think that you can defeat me with your meager powers? You're nothing more than an unanticipated development.

Ulquiorra: How ridiculous. We already know what awaits both you and your friends. Their coming here... will not change the fact that all of you are going to die. There is no changing that. By sharing your feelings with your friends before your deaths, you humans are able to set yourselves at ease. It's a form of instinct that prevents you from falling into the pit of fear and despair. In reality, it is impossible for people to truly share their feelings. It's simply a human delusion.

* Orihime ponders.

* Flashback shows Orihime saying goodbye to Ichigo in his room at night.

Orihime: That may be true. It may be impossible for us to all share the exact same feelings. But when you both care for each other, your hearts are able to draw a little closer together.

* Flashback: Inoue says "Don't die!" to a masked Ichigo. ((references scene here. Retyping flashbacks is tiresome! =P))

Orihime: That's what it means when we say our souls are one.

Ulquiorra: Your souls? You humans say that word so lightly.

* Ulquiorra approaches Orihime.

Ulquiorra: As if it were something one can hold in the palm of one's hand. My eyes see all. There's nothing that escapes their sight. Nothing exists that they can't see. I've come to realize this during my fights.

* Ulquiorra stops in front of Orihime.

Ulquiorra: What is a soul?

* Ulquiorra touches Orihime's chest.

Ulquiorra: Could I see it if I tore open your chest?

* His hand moves up to her head, pointing to her eyes.

Ulquiorra: Could I see it if I cracked open your head?

* There's spirit pressure. A hole opens from the ground and Ichigo jumps from it. Ichigo and Ulquiorra look at each other.

Renji: Howl, Zabimaru!

Chad: El Directo!

Rukia: Hakuren!

Ichigo: Aren't you guys getting a bit carried away?!

Renji: It's been a while since we got some airtime! We're gonna tear this place a new one!

* They all laugh but Ichigo.

Ichigo: I feel sorry for those Exequias guys.

Living World, Karakura Town, Kurosaki Family's House

* In Ichigo's bedroom, Rukia is trying to open the closet.

Ichigo: Hey, what are you doing?!

Rukia: It's not my fault! Blame your closet for being so small!

* The closet starts inflating.

Ichigo: What did you stuff in there?!

* The gigai of Matsumoto falls on Ichigo, breasts-first. Then Yumichika and Renji's gigais.

Ichigo: What the hell?!

Rukia: They're the faux bodies everyone asked me to take care of!

* Ikkaku's gigai falls on Ichigo's head.

Rukia: Substitute Shinigami can't say no to a request, even if they want to!
